Lunchbox Receives Email Response From ‘Price Is Right'

Lunchbox is finally trying to get on a game show.

After years of talking about how much he wants to be on television and how he is made to be on a game show. Bobby Bones told him that he could get time off from the show if he pays his way to go out to California and try to be on any of the game shows. He didn't do anything about it for awhile, but after the whole ordeal with Eddie being offered up for a game show spot something changed. Lunchbox was furious he wasn't put up for the opportunity to be on Wheel of Fortune by one of the station program directors. So much so, he corned him and recorded audio of their encounter when he dropped by the studio.

Lunchbox came back to work earlier this week to share that he finally booked a flight and sent off an email. He has a flight booked for October for a week because he sent an email to Price Is Right producers asking to be on the show. He also noted that tickets go on sale soon, so he plans to be in the audience for as many shows as possible. Everything was booked up until the fall, hence why he booked a flight for October. Bones told him he could have as many days off as he gets chosen by shows rather than just having a whole week off to "be on vacation."

UPDATE as of today (July 29): Lunchbox received a response from Price Is Right. He was excited because he sent them a heartfelt letter and he thought it would get him on the show. In their response, he realized he got an automated message back. They told him thank you for reaching out, then proceeded to share that October tickets become available in September. They also shared the times for taping in case he wanted to know those. He was disappointed he didn't get any "star" treatment for reaching out from his iHeartRadio email address, but Bobby says they wouldn't have paid attention to that.
