Madame Tussauds Gets It Right With Their New Beyonce Statue: See The Photos

Madame Tussauds hasn't always nailed it when it comes to their statues of celebrities, in particular Beyoncé, but the famed wax museum has nailed their latest rendition of the superstar.

On Thursday (September 19), official social media accounts for the London location unveiled the newest Bey statue, which channels her iconic Coachella 2018 look, and we have to admit they did a fantastic job. Not only does the figure accurately replicate her look from the evening, but the face of the figure looks, well, very similar to the star's actual face. "It's time to bow down to THE QUEEN 👑 🐝" the official account for Madame Tussauds captioned several photos of the figure.

Bey's newest statue at Madame Tussauds is a win for the BeyHive, but the pop titan's Netflix documentary, Homecoming, which chronicled her history-making performances, didn't win any of the six titles that it was up for at this year's Creative Arts Emmy Awards. Among the categories included Outstanding Variety Special (pre-recorded); Outstanding Costumes for Variety, Non-Fiction or Reality Programming; Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special; Outstanding Music Direction; Outstanding Production Design for a Variety Special; and Outstanding Writing for a Variety Special.

Either way, the BeyHive was bestowed a gift this week when ABC released a documentary titled Making the Gift, which gave viewers an exclusive look at the making of her Lion King-inspired album, The Gift. During the hour-long special, they were treated to intimate moments with the star, her husband JAY-Z and their children — Blue Ivy Carter, Rumi Carter, and Sir Carter — on a trip to Africa.
